Year 2014 Eligible Services List Prepared by the Schools and Libraries Division
An
unofficial listing of Eligible and Ineligible Charges and Fees We compiled this list of the various
charges and fees that we have found on telecommunication bills. It includes
our determination of their eligibility versus ineligibility based on our
experience and interpretation. The Eligible Services List (link above) is the
official arbiter of eligibility. A Glossary of Acronyms and Terms Prepared by the Schools and Libraries Division

Division’s evaluation guidance website. This
Guide contains the two Sample Evaluation Grids that the Schools and Libraries
Division offer. One is from their annual participants’ trainings and the
other is from the website cited above. Included are possible alternative
criteria one might use in developing a grid for a specific purpose. Links to numerous resources available at the Schools and Libraries’ website including Binder Tabs and Table of Contents Prepared by the Schools and Libraries Division
The ICN will now be an e-Rate Service Provider. Schools and Libraries can purchase Internet Access from them and get e-Rate disocunts on the “overage”. In general, a school or library will have to purchase the transport of the signal from the ICN from another provider. Please see the ICN’s Presentation at its 2012 Regional Meeting on October 21, 2012. It provides explanations. Find the pricing details on Slides 22—25.
